Our Story
Meant to be…
"Kerry and I share a special connection through our godfather, Joe Tomas. We’ve been in each other’s lives, though from a distance, since the very beginning. Growing up three years apart meant we didn’t have much in common as kids, (Kerry thought I was annoying) but when Kerry and the Holifields moved back from Hawaii, we quickly became close friends.
The first time we hung out was in 2012 at Mt. Baker Beach with our cousin Payton. The moment I saw Kerry, I knew I had fallen in love at first sight. About a year and a half later, we realized we couldn’t deny our feelings for each other—even though we knew it would be complicated with how close our families were. Within the friendship we had built, we found our first love. And the rest, as they say, is history!”

Our Engagement
To celebrate our 10th anniversary, Kaylyn and I went on a three-week European vacation. For our anniversary on December 23rd, 2022, Kaylyn planned a day trip to the Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, France. It was the most magical place! After a long trek to the top, Kaylyn got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him!
Later in the trip, we were lucky enough to be joined by our families. Needless to say, it was the trip of a lifetime! We are so excited to announce our engagement and can't wait to share more wedding updates with you all!
