Fly into Florence, Italy
Flying into Florence's Amerigo Vespucci Airport is the easiest way to get to the wedding event. Depending on where you are coming from there may not be a direct flight, but it's still the fastest way to get to region where the wedding will be held. We recommend booking your flight from 10.21-10.25, and adding on an extra couple days if you'd like to explore Florence or see more of the Tuscan country side. We are hoping to host a welcome dinner on the 22nd and the wedding ceremony and reception is scheduled for 10.23.

Drive to Val d'Orcia
When you land in Florence, pick up your rental car from the conveniently located agencies at the airport. Amerigo Vespuci Airport is located about 20 minutes outside of Florence, so you won't have to worry about navigating the city. Jump on the highway, and enjoy the gorgeous drive to the Val d'Orcia region of Tuscany. Apple Maps works great in Italy, it should be easy to enter the address of your lodging!

On the day of the wedding we'll provide transportation from Casali di Bibbiano to the wedding ceremony and back. So you'll just need to arrive at Casali Di Bibbiano by 2:30.

Drive Back to Florence
After you've had your fill of the tuscan country side---or you have to get back to work. Drive back to the Amerigo Vespuci Airport and drop of your car. If you'd like to explore Florence we'd recommend Ubering from the airport into the city center. It's easiest to stay in the city and explore all that florence has to offer on foot. If you do choose to drive in make sure you pay attention to "ZTL" zones, which are areas around historic points of interest that only allow certain vehilces like residents, and emergency vehicles.

Fly Home
There is train called the "T2" tram that takes you to and from the Florentine city center to the airport, it takes about 20 minutes and costs about 2 euro. Or you can Uber for about 60$. Make sure you pick up some pasta, wine, and other italian specialty items to enjoy when you get home.
